UV-P can effectively absorb ultraviolet radiation in the 270-340 nm range while hardly absorbing any visible light. UV-absorbing paint shows minimal color change in the initial stage, making it more suitable for colorless or light-colored products. It is widely used in PVC, PS, PC, PMMA, PE, ABS resin, unsaturated polyester, epoxy resin, natural rubber and synthetic rubber. It can also be used in paint and synthetic fibers.
