Chemical Name: Dioctyl adipate
CAS No.: 103-23-1
DOA is a typical cold-resistant plasticizer with high plasticizing efficiency at elevated temperatures and minimal color change upon heating. It is suitable for various resins, including polyvinyl chloride (PVC), vinyl chloride copolymers, polystyrene, and synthetic rubber, providing products with good low-temperature flexibility, light resistance and a pleasant hand feel. It is often used with primary plasticizers like DOP and DBP in applications such as cold-resistant agricultural films, frozen food packaging films, wire and cable coatings, artificial leather, sheets and outdoor water pipes. When used in plasticizer pastes, it results in a low initial viscosity with good viscosity stability. This product is approved for use in food packaging materials in countries such as the United States, France, Italy, Japan and the Netherlands.
