Methyl ethyl ketone is also known as methyl ethyl ketone, 2-butanone, butanone, or MEK for short. It is an important organic compound.

Applications:

1. Industrial solvent: MEK is an organic solvent with excellent performance. It is widely used in industrial fields such as magnetic tapes, synthetic leather, coatings, adhesives and inks.

2. Food industry: As an effective antioxidant, it is used to prevent food oxidation reactions, extend shelf life and enhance antiseptic effects.

7. Fine chemical raw materials: MEK is used as an intermediate in the production of antioxidants, spices and catalysts. Its derivative, methyl ethyl ketone peroxide, is used as a curing agent for polyester fiberglass.
